Wendy ..yes anyone can come along ..you can enter the Nat Apt (for entry form contact Lynn O'Connel ) then come along and decide  if you want to enter your dog ..there will be plenty for you to do ...sitting about eating chatting .giving basic agility a go.....giving retreiving a go in a scurry..prize for the fastest
And Wendy has said (see below) she will run an "informal school" puppy or older   just any owner/dog needing advice on how to keep everyone happy.
As Wendy says the food is always excellent  we have for the past few years had a top Scottish chef on hand to cook..we use only Scottish ingredients so excellent...and if staying over to second day at Border Union  drinks may be on hand too........

Good Morning,

Well, what a fantastic weekend!!!! Great Weather, Great Company, lot & lots of Lovely Munsters - ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!!!!

So much to say about the weekend. Saturday was a great success - well done to Helen for organising it. Big thanks to the judges for coming up & making the day so enjoyable for all those who took part too & Finally a BIG WELL DONE to those handlers whose dogs achieved a pass - especially our Junior Handlers, Erin with Paws & Polly with Douglas. Well Done Guys you did a great job. The eye testing clinic went well too - so thanks to Prof. Sheila Crispen for making the journey up to run it for us. I didn't run Elvis in the Nat Apt myself as I was busy helping on th Admin for the eyes in the morning & then I was helping with thr BBQ at lunchtime. Elvis did get a run though in the afternoon & he had a ball playing with all the dogs. It was lovely to see so many new faced @ the Nat Apt. Elspeth, Gregor & Ceilidh, John, Polly & Douglas, The Bowes family with their gorgeos little puppy Brodie & not forgetting John, Fiona & the very handsome Aero who was as yummy as ever. Honestly, it was a fantastic day & I can't wait to do it all again next year!!! Oooops, almost forget, big big thanks to Eric & Fiona who manned the food tent at lunchtime - making sure everyone had everything they needed.

Yesterday was another lovely day out. Everyone was in high spirits & chatty. Vicky, it was great to see you & your family. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend - so glad the weather stayed nice. Need to get planning the BIG celebrations for next year - isn't that right Vicky???!!! Big party in a field sounds like a good plan!!!LOL I was very pleased with Elvis' 2nd in Limit - again he behaved well so that was the most important thing.

All in All it was a brilliant weekend - Thanks

Well I am off on my holidays this week - I fly out to Nerja in the Costa Del Sol on Thursday for 10 days. I can't wait.

I hope those of you going to any shows (Blackpool, Windsor or Dundee Open Show) have fun & do well. Also any of you who are going to Hall Barn, I hope you have a fantastic time - can't wait to hear all about it when I get back. I know Polly & Douglas will be giving it a go - so good luck to you 2. I am sure you'll do brilliantly!!!

Wendy,

Do you think Elvis & I (well probably more I actually ;-) ) could book some time with you next weekend?? Elvis is a million times better than he used to be but I do still find it hard to make myself "EXCITING" enough for him to come back to me on a walk. He will come back if we are out with other dogs, as if he's following by example, but when it's just him & I I often get what we scots call "Rubber Eared"!!! Any help or advice you could give me would be much appreciated.

Pam
