Hi munster lucy, the kids did great as did the pooches.
Erin and ace won the heelwork to music freestyle and got 3rd in the htm. they had a great round in the obedience and a lovely round in the agility with just a pole down. Erin and the lovely paws won the handling and got on tv doing so. nothing in the breed this year but to be honest we werent expecting anything there this year. now paws is hopefully away to take time out to have her and our first litter with our new affix. she is in season now so will be visiting a handsome gent soon. erin and jason very excited about the pups to be. J also had a great crufts getting 4th with wee buzz in grooming and a happy round in agility with boy and dog very chuffed with eachother.
Location:Lossiemouth
Happy birthday to Mum Maggie who was 12 today, from yer daughters Skye and Spring.
Happy second retirment to Mo.
and not to be forgotten - well done Ellie in passing your bronze Good Citizen award.
Finally got round to putting Ellie in for her Bronze test tonight and she passed no problems I am really proud of her.
Sadly we wont be down at crufts this year so will be looking for results updates please, hope everyone has a fab time.
Gill
Skye and Spring have been practising and are ready for their first caps this weekend...against the English but they have not forgetten about their pals who will be strutting their stuff in Birmingham and want to wish them all good luck.
Linda, so sorry to hear about Seska hope she's ok.
Also so sorry to hear about Ghillie. Fingers crossed for a full recovery.
Mo
Really sorry to hear about Ghillie, fingers crossed he is on the mend and will be back to his old self soon .Its a shame he cant come to crufts this year but he will have lots of years to shine on the green carpet, he is just saving himself. give him a cuddle from us and a lick from Paws and the gang.
Have been meaning to post to say how much we enjoyed the munster meet at Mugdock. Beautiful day, and great company; it is so nice to catch up with everybody while the show season is in abeyance.
Sad news is that Ghillie won't be at Crufts. After he was looking so great and so fit a couple of weeks ago, he has had a really severe reoccurence of his colitis and spent all day yesterday at the vets on a drip and unlike previous occasions where he hasn't been particularly poorly, this time he was really ill, vomitting, refusing food, bleeding etc. We have no idea what triggered it, but he is such a dreadful scavenger that it could have been anything. So thats us crossed out of the catalogue for Crufts. The main thing is that he has responded well to treatment...so far and despite the dramatic weight loss, is back to his usual bonkers self and begging for food every two minutes after not eating for 3 days. It will be a while before he is back on a proper diet again.
Haven't decided whether to go down to Crufts just for the visit without Ghillie, will decide next week.
So sorry to hear about Seska, what a terrible thing to happen, you must have been so disappointed Linda. Still, at least she is OK.
So might see you all at Crufts; if not, lots of Luck and have a great time everybody.
Lindsey.
