I agree with Mo, the hotel we are staying in is lovely. Friendly too, they allowed us to bring the dogs into the room this morning to give them their breakfast. The little park we found is perfect for the dogs and very popular. We met lots of people on our walk last night and again they were all friendly too.
Even though we are not going to arrive at the Showground til probably Midday we have been awake since 5.30am!!!! I sometimes think we must be mad - who else would get up earlier on the weekend than they do during the week??!!!!LOL Still it's a nice day so at least we will be able to get the dogs out a good walk before we head to the show.
I hope eveyone coming to the show has a good day and I hope those who are at home and doing other things with their dogs are also having a nice weekend.
Pam and Elvis xxxx
Pam & I stayed a great hotel here at Droitwich..very posh...with complementary breakfast??!!

I am debating thisssss...it's on my birtdhay again! 18!
Hi Pam, I thought you might have got them mixed up! I do it myself so can't blame you for it.
As to breeding another litter, well fingers crossed. I don't know if it was bad luck, Chance's fault, or Seska's. Her seasons are irregular so who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.
Sorry Linda I am getting your girls mixed up I thought Pepsi was Seska!!!!!LOL
WIllyou be trying again with Seska this year?
Pam
As she hasn't had any of her health tests done yet I have no intention of breeding from her yet. I will wait until she has before making any decision. Not only that, she isn't yet 2 years old (birthday is only 11 days away though....lol! ) I personally won't mate a bitch before she is 2 years old.
Looking at the bright side of things. She'll be clear for this summers show season......
Morning,
What another glorious morning - I so wished I could have not come to work this morning and spent the day down by the Clyde with the dogs instead. Here's hoping this isn't all the good weather we are going to get!!!
Had a really lovely weekend. HPR on Saturday then Mo and I went up to Carol and Colins to give the dogs a run in the afternoon. It was a gorgeous afternoon and the dogs had a great time. Thanks Carol and Colin for having us over - it was nice to catch up.
Yesterday Mo and I were up and out early to get down the Clyde so that Poppy could have another swimming lesson. Despite it being quite chilly at that time Poppy was happy to jump in and out. She swam well and I think with a bit more practice she will be a proper little water baby, just like her Sister Suki!!! Elvis wasn't as keen as he normally is to get in but eventually I was able to get him to go in and do a blind retrieve on 1 of the balls that the girls had missed so that was good. I was concerned that perhaps he had gone off swimming but later on yesterday I took him for a walk round lanark loch and he got straight in and swam along side the path, so perhaps it had just been a tad chilly for him, big wooss!!!!LOL
Aero looks like he had a fab time on his holidays. Will you guys be at WELKs this weekend? Maybe we can catch up with you there. It feels like ages since was last had a Munster Gathering. I suppose now the show season has started it will be hard to get organised. Maybe the weekend of SKC we could organise something?
Linda, your hear must have been in your mouth with Pepsi last week - the don't have put us through the ringer!!!LOL Are you planning on mating Pepsi this season or do you have to wait for the next 1?
Pam and Elvis
Now that the show season is starting in earnest I can't believe how frustrated I am. My last show was SKC last August! I'm getting show fever. I could really do with a show to go to. I notice HPR is on today. Did any of you go? Selkirk is a bit far just to go along for a nosey. I suppose I'll have to wait until there is one nearer home.... Mind you, I wouldn't be showing today, even if I'd entered. As I said, Pepsi is in season and as Claire is on holiday with her dad I don't have a dog sitter.
Oh that poor Lab! Makes the tears water just thinking about it.
Well, Pepsi is fine today. I did wonder if there would be any signs of stiffness today, but no. I usually have enough control to stop them from jumping fences, but Pepsi is in season and all brain control must have gone out of the window! She has behaved today though. Came back to the whistle every time. Or stopped if that whistle blown. I hope it taught her a lesson. Probably not.......
Anyone fancy dog sitting a love struck male for a week or so....?????? No, didn't think so... Oh well, off to find the ear plugs...
Glass and Barred wire are my pet hates...on a walk with the dogs I have one eye on the dogs ..one eye on the ground ..for glass ...and one spare eye..
You were lucky Linda ..I met a lovely black lab at Glen Isla Hotel once who had ripped his boy bits off going over a barred wired fence?!!
Mo
I took my camera with me today to hopefully get some nice photos. I never used it. Pepsi had decided to jump the fence into the field to check out the pheasants. When I recalled her she tried to jump back and couldn't. The field is lower down than the path. I knew that there was a tree down further on so started walking towards it. Pepsi was behind me,following, or so I thought. The horrid screaming came from quite a way back. She had tried to jump back in and got caught on the fence. I was so sure that she was caught in the barbed wire I could feel my stomach tightening. She was hanging upside down. Stomach was definately lead by now. She freed herself and came running up to me. Expecting to find a lot of blood I checked her out. NOTHING! Not a scratch, not a hair out of place that I could see, absolutely nothing wrong! Why do they do this to us? I can only think that she actually got caught up in the actual fence, between the wire and the mesh, rather than the barbed wire.
Oh well, will have to try to get more photos later, once I've calmed down enough.....
Did anyone see Britains got talent last night? if you did ..you would have seen Erin with Ace doing "roll overs" on the floor you had to be quick to see ..but it was good...well done Erin again
Hi,
Sorry I haven't been on much lately, things have been a bit manic here so haven't had much time to get online.
Loved seeing the pics and updates from Zeph and Ghillie. Both look very settled and happy in their homes.
