Ok then here goes. we have been concentrating on agility recently as it is  a bit cheaper than showing and the dogs love it. erin has been competing with ace and wee buzz and i must say that it is wee buzz that has been the star. wont got too far back and bore you all but the last two weekends have been spent up in aberdeen and wee buzz has got 2 x 2nd 2 x 1st 1 x 7th, ace got 1 x 8th , 3 x 5th. wee buzz had got 4 trophies in two shows which is great he also managed to qualify for crufts so they have done brilliantly. erin has now qualified three dogs for crufts, paws has breed and ykc handling, ace has heelwork to music and wee buzz has agility.

Hi,

1st - Well Done to all the Winners at Leeds on Monday. Especially to young Noodle on gaining her JW at soung a young age. Does anyone know - is this a breed record. Looks like this litter will be one to watch. Tina & Vicky must be Over The Moon!!! Fantastic!!!

2nd - Well Done to Ellie - what a star she is. Nice to see her following in her Dads footsteps & keeping his memory going. Kai will be very proud of her.

3rd - Well Done to Erin for all her agility successes recently. maybe Nicky could fill us in on it all shortly??

Well, we're halfway through the week again. Looking forward to seeing my boy this weekend.

What has everyone got planned for the weekend? Does anyone fancy having a Mini Munster Bash on Saturday??

Yes I went to watch Ellie  "Graduate" at Agility  she was very good  and got 6 rossetts (dont be modest Gill)  I took pics but have not had a chance to look at them   It is making me think Suki might like to do it......although Suki forty seems to be retrieving  and swimming  preferrably together Apparently Kai (her dad) was the same?!
Pictures to follow

PS PS Erin and Ace are also doning very well at compition agility  but Nicky is too modest to say

Just wanted to tell everyone how fab Ellie is doing with her agility. She had her first competition last night before the prize giving and placed 4th and also got 2nd most improved dog.So turned out she was quite good at agility after I explained she didnt need to do a lap of honor everytime she got something right lol. Poor soul is exhausted today tho barely heard a peep out of her since we got home last night. Will try and get a pic of her with her rosettes one the weather pics up again.

Vicky, have you looked on Ebay? There are usually a few on there at a decent price. There is someone in the breed who makes them, but I cannot for the life of me remember who. I'd be tempted to make my own though. All you would need is the towelling and something to sew round the edges (bias binding).

Does anyone know where to get these? I tried at the show yesterday but to no avail. All of the ones online are arond £30 and this is far too expensive as I have seen others for only £10/£15.

If anyone knows where I can get one....please let me know!!

Mo - Thanks very much - that is kind of you.

They are doing well, aren't they? I'm jealous, I'm jealous, I'm......... LOL!!!!!

I just hope that Chance and Seska produce puppies just as nice next year, seeing as the pedigrees are very similar. We'll just have to wait and see.

Wooh well done   Junior Warrent 13months  that must be a record ....  certainly would be here in Scotland?!
These Celtaur puppies are certainly riding high  ....well done Tina for breeding them..
Mo
PS Vicky  of coarse we will give you feed back on your new site....like people who want "feed back" on things  ..we cannot know everything  ..and other peoples opinions are very important  ..after all they are the people you are hoping to visit your site?!!...and we all have a small bit of expertize that other people have not found yet ..  and we should all share or expertize  so......
long as you know what to do with the feed back??!!..

Congrats to Celtaur Atlantic Seal on gaining her Junior Warrant today at Leeds at only 13 months!!!!!!!!!

Well done to others who did well too.

Interesting  my understanding is that Harewood house is between Leeds  & Harrogate
BBC weather  for tomorrow (Monday I hope) is

  • Leeds " cloudy"
  • Harrogate "mainly Drizzle"
So I guess it will be cloudy

Last year at Leeds we had to be pulled out of carpark by tractor because of the awful wet
 conditions resuling in mud..mud

Hi Everyone,

Lovely to see pics of both Carter & Brew - both are looking really well & happy.

Mo, that pic of Suki does have a bit of "Demon Dog" look about it!!!LOL

So, is it just Scottish Ringcraft Classes that shutdown for the summer then or will England follow suit when your schools all break up?

Not been mush happening with me I'm afraid - Elvis is his usual Mad Self. I thought he wasn't very well on Saturday Night & Sunday Morning but he was quick to dispell that once he got out on a run with "His Girls"!!!LOL

Anyway, hope everyone is well & Good Luck to everyone going to Leeds. I hope the weather is nice.

Wendy first........ I thought you had fallen off the world  (no hear from you??)  Sorry you are not well  with phlebitis     is not nice  and is very painful I hope you make a speedy recovery.

Vicky  "Where to stay in Bonnie Scotland?"....First question  "do your dogs chase sheep?"
St Andrews is very nice   Hugh sandy beachs     so vast they do sand sailing on them    sort of boat things  which are blown along the beach  with people standing on them?  and a across the river Eden you have TENTSMUIR FORREST Hugh forrest  running up the eddge of the sea   with lots of wild live in the sea   seals  basking on the rocks     no sheep  so no problem
From St Andrews can get easily over to Pertshire    big forrest walks there.
If you tell us when you are coming we will TRY to set up a meet?
Enjoy your driving        may be you will be able to drive youself to Scotland  next year?!

Vicky, wishing you good luck with your future driving lessons .... and for the instructor too !!!!
Is mum or dad helping out or are you just having professional lessons ??
I am a little out of action - not been well for past couple of days, visited the doctor to be told I have phlebitis. A mixture of gentle exercise and rest and no driving for at least a week, so Ken on all dog walking duties. Hope fit enough for Peterborough next Wednesday. Anybody else entered ? I thought it was appropriate! Thank you for the advice.

The dogs are great thank you for asking. I gave Isla a bath this morning as I took them both on a run yesterday in a field in the village. Only a little field, however, they love the tall grass and love to run. They were in there for a good half hour to an hour just running. Anyway, Isla was filthy! (I would've thought it would've been Carly as she is whiter!)

I also took them around the village I live in for some socialisation and around the market, they proved a hit with the locals. When taking them a walk down the canal I also met a lady who asked me what breed they were. I told her and she raised an eyebrow, obviously thinking I had made the breed name up! Have you ever experienced this or anyone else?

I am not at Peterborough as it is my best friends birthday that day and I have promised to go up and see him to give him his present and card.

In the future, we would love to come on one of the get togethers you have. I have mentioned to my mom about spending a week in scotland with the dogs as it's a lovely place for walks.  Where are the best places to stay and take the dogs ?

We have just returned from holiday up in the Cairngorms and read the sad news about Kai. We never met the fella, but he sounded quite the character. I have a feeling that more than a little bit of him lives on in our Rolf. Thinking of you all.

Rich, Jayne and Rolf

Morning Folks,

Just wanted to thank everyone for a lovely day out yesterday. It was lovely to get the chance to all meet up & see all the dogs together. It was especially nice to meet a few new faces who were at the fair too - Margaret & Oakly & also Murphy (Sorry didn't get the owners name - too busy admiring his gorgeous Munster!!LOL) & also Claire & Danny. The munsters certainly gave everyone a good giggle at the Scurry!!! Well Done to Sarah & Alfie on coming 2nd fastest in the Juniors - you should be very proud of that. Even the rain failed to dampen our spirits. I did at 1st think the £13 entry fee was quite a lot but I think we all got our money's worth.

Looking forward to our next outing - will need to check the diary & see when suits everyone.

Thank you mo, Isla and Carly did really well at the show yesterday, especially as Isla has been a bit excited recently when showing her and i just couldn't calm her down, she would jump up me and no amount of telling her seemed to work, but, yesterday she was really good and so was Carly, she was a star.........I'm so proud!

I do think I need a lesson or two off Erin, as she never seems to panick in the ring.........any tips Erin?

Well done to Cassie also.

Just when things are gloomy, there's always a rainbow!  Took Cassie to her first show today.  Only a "fun" one at the local gymkana, but she got a second in the Junior class and a third in the gun dog class.  I'm so proud!  She didn't perform that well - wouldn't stand, and chose to jump up and bit my arm on her "run" around the ring.  Better on the second time though, and she is now "lording" it up on the sofa, rosettes all around her!

This s a  picture of Brewster   our tri coloured puppy in Kai & Tillys last litter.
Brewster was the wee small boy in  the litter
brew web.jpg   who got so excited when he got to the "nipple"
he could not keep his head still  to catch the nipple  and so got no milk (it would appear). So he was bottled fed & from being a wee small favorit one he has turned out to be a strapping  handsome munster. Who ..in this picture is drying himself off  using the sofa as a towel  after having fallen into the Canel  while "doing the toilet".

We are so sorry to hear about sacha . it is the hardest thing to do and we know that better than anyone at the moent but her lifequality was like kais going to suffer and you didi the right thing for her. it is horrible though isnt it. we felt angry , sad , guilty and devastated all at the same time and i am sure it is exactly how you are feeling right now. hope kai looks out for sacha and thay can look after each other.

So sorry

Lindsey, I am so sorry for the loss to you and your family. Dogs are only with us for a short period of time that we all have to make decisions that we don't want to have to make. You have done the right thing by not prolonging the suffering.

Thinking of you.

I've had a call tonight from Bruce. If they extend the 100 metre exclusion any further it looks like I'll be getting some house guests for the night. He is just outside the zone at the moment. The man who was hurt in the fire is the one who fixed my car recently, so my thoughts are with him, but it doesn't sound as if his injuries are life threatening. Looks like he'll be looking for a new job though. The garage is, well, no longer there!
