Hi,
As you have missed the postal closing date for Paignton you will have to enter on line via Higham Press - www.highampress.co.uk Down the left handside of the page click on dog.biz This will take you to the website that you can enter Paignton from. You will 1st have to register your dog. For this you will need your kennel club registration certificate as there will be some information on that which you will need to enter. Once you have done this you will be able to enter the show. There are step by step instructions. Best thing to do would be to get Cassie registered 1st then give Mo a call & she can talk you through it (I would have talked you through it but I'm going on holiday tonight, Sorry!!). Don't panic the online entries don't close til the 27th so you have got time to get it all sorted.
As Cassie will only be 17 months on the day of the show I would recommend entering her into Class 1262 - JB (Junior Bitch). This class is for Bitches not exceeding 18 months of afe so she should sit nicely in that class.
As for preparation before hand - have you been to any ringcraft classes? If there is 1 on your area it might be worth going along to a few just to learn the ropes. Where abouts are you? I'm sure someone will know of 1 in your area. If you can't find 1 then you basically need to get her to stand nice & still & get her used to having someone running their hands over her & checking her teeth. You will then also need to teach her how to run nicely beside you as you will be asked to move her during the class. As I am not the best at explaining these things I will leave it here & let someone else add anything they might think will be helpful.
Was surfing the net this morning & found this - www.thebark.com Looks like an american magazine. Amazingly (& randomly) they have a Large Munsterlander as their Cover Dog for the May/June 2008 Issue. The dog is Boog who lives in New York. If my memory serves me right he is a Scottish Bred Munster???
