ok paws is a clever little sod. but she can be very naughty sometimes as you all know. paws and erin were working as a real team on tuesday and yet again she was the youngest by miles with the biggest dog by feet!!!  ace was a star and is such a lovely boy . hope surf turns out half as good as him and we will be lucky.

Sorry to hear Carol and Colin have not moved into their new property - I hope they have somewhere nice to stay in the mean time.  Is the original property with land still on the cards or have they to find somewhere else.  Keep fingers and toes crossed for them, I know it is a worrying time.  In case Carol can't read the blog, if you speak to her, please pass on my best wishes for a speedy result.

Sorry this is a late entry ... Christine came to visit, we did a walk and then to ring class tonight with our two pups.  So a belated Happy Birthday to Carol - hope you have had a good day.  How is the house situation. Are any of you coming down this weekend ?  I know Nicky isn't, good luck with competition.

surf is surf because her grandad is from australia. she is also surf because we found her while surfing the web!!!!  she is lovely though apart from eating your trouser legs on the move.

we didnt gt into to see brew as we were passing his house at 5am and i dont reckon visitors should pop in at that time of morning . we were back up his way on way back at 8 but didnt want to stop with pup in car. i hear from lynn and gordon all the time and brew is doing well and is really happy with them. he is a lucky boy.

Hi,

Surf is absolutely gorgeous!!! How did you come up with that name? I am glad she's settling in well, can't wait to meet her.

Did you pop in & see Brew when you were down that way?

Pam

surf

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Surf says thanks for all the comments about her [yep she is a girlie - kai likes it that way].

she came for a kennel near to the blackpool champ show . the affix is bryning. her mum was a black and white and her dad was a blue and white but her grand parents and everything back her aussie line was golden and the dad carriers golden too. there were three her colour in that litter. her blue and white bro is going to bermuda so they get around. she is settling in well and loves the kids and other dogs although its back to the howling pup at night we had got brewie out of that and now here we go again. the show will be fun and i am sure the kids will enjoy. erin loves working her dogs. showing is ok but dont you just feel good when you have trained the dog to work whether it be in the field obedience or agility . you sort of see the fruits of your labour and the bond you have with them more. paws is going to be good at it as well she is a speedy little sod if she would only stay off the trampoline .

kai is in the huff with me cos we gave him a hair cut. as he aint a show boy now he sort of let himself go and had a top not to be proud of and fraggle feet that would scare  a clydesdale horse. why was he never that hairy when he was youing. so ho got his ear done and boy has he got hairy ears and his feathers clipped and his bonnie chest hair is short now so he cant get it full of sticky willies. he is lookig far better and feeling good too. hogans turn next as kelsey has been done. i keep threatening to give her a bath but at 13 and a quarter i feel mean. i should maybe leave her out in the rain with some shampoo!!!!

Erin, he is adorable, looking forward to seeing pics of him as he grows.  Will his colouring change, I know some breeds darken and as I have never seen a collie like him before not sure about him.  What colours were the parents.
Good luck next weekend at your competition, sure it will be much more interesting than the committee meeting.

we cant do the may tvga show anymore because they changed the date and i have an agility weekend show then down in the borders. i would pick the agility any day over a show cos its better fun and lasts longer.it is getting very expensive to show and i think people will not be willing to travel too far for a show.more folk will pick and choose what they do. cant blame them.

OOPS!!

You're quite right Pam. I don't know where I got Andy's name from. Apologies to both Stuart and Andy for getting it wrong. The daft thing is I was actually thinking of Stuart, and could even picture him in my mind when I typed. Think I must be going senile.

I hope things get sorted out at the AGM. I'll speak to Liz on Sunday and explain to her. She know that there are plenty of munster people in the area who usually go to the show.

Hi,

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Linda it is infact Stuart Offer who is Judging at TVGA this weekend, not Andy Robbins. I did mention a few weeks ago that due to the situation with the Club I doubted I would be able to attend this open show. As Maureen has said over the past couple of years if it wasn't for us supporting & attending so many of the Scottish Open Shows we would probably be losing classes all over the place. Unfortunately on this occasion I feel I need to support the club & new comittee so it's up to other Munster Owners to take the responsibility & keep the classes at this show.

Worst comes to worst if it is poorly supported this weekend & there is the possibility of losing the classes maybe the New Chairperson for the Club would be willing to send a letter to the TVGA & explain the special circumstances surrounding this AGM etc & maybe that would help???

Pam

Sorry Mo, either I miswrote, or you misread. What I was trying to say is that because I can't get to the AGM I will be attending TVGA, in order to support Andy.  I didn't state that you don't support the open shows. I know that you get to a lot more than I do, purely because I just don't have the money, or someone at home to look after the other dogs. It's so easy to make mistakes on the internet. Sometimes you can be sure of the correct wording, then someone will read it totally different to how you meant.

Open Shows

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

I dont think anyone can accuse me of not supporting Open shows in Scotland Linda.
I and Carol Nicky & Pam are usually the only ones at open shows  so.......??
we are doing our bit  big time   You will need to look else where not in our "nick of the woods".
And there are more inportant things happening in the world

WELKS - Well done to those who did well yesterday. From reports that I've had a good day was had, with a very friendly atmosphere. Though the ground was awful - full of potholes filled with water. The grass was supposedly very slippy.

I take it you won't be at TVGA next weekend then Mo, with Judge Andy Robbins (Harlowfield). We really need to support up and coming LM owner/judges, though I can understand that next weekend could be a problem for some as they will be going to the AGM. My car is still needing the part replaced. I have it sitting in my car, but my neighbour is too busy this weekend, and he is working next weekend, so I don't know when I'll be around any shows. I've filled in a few schedules, but am waiting until the last possible moment before sending them off, just in case I don't get the car fixed.

Hi Mo

Wasn't testing Lucy's ability just exercising but one of the friends with whom I pick up has been working Vislas along side me for the last twenty years so lots of help at hand. However, if she doesn't make the grade she can always be my lap dog!!! Would love to come to your event but June is manic for me, major eventsand weddings every weekend. I am organising a 60th Birthday Party at home for Brian on the 7th as well as organising a wedding at work, if that makes sense. Just means I am playing super woman for a few weeks. Hoping the weather will improve, it's horrible today.Lucy appears to got over the dislike of the rain in fact she almost enjoyed it this morning and she loves the dog drier. At the end of her walk she rushes in and sits on the mat below the drier unlike some of the others who try to hide and hope you will forget about them. She tries to catch the hot air and has great fun. I'm exhausted by the end of it!!!

Yes I show him   he does quite well got a RCC last year(I think) his backend is forty(so Helen says)  He is lovely.. just a big suck  wants cuddles all the time  except  when he is on the moor  then he says " bye bye I am off"  .
I do hope Lucy will "do the business" for you Liz.  Do you know how to train a HPR to work?(trying not to be rude unusal for me") Liz. Nat App up here in Kelso June    lots of advice freely given. And experts watch and mark your dog on ability. Well worth the trip.
Barbarque also  really good day.
Wendy what show is on next weekend?   is it Border Counties?  only one I think of.
Not going to it  and do not know anyone whi is?!

Hope you all have had a good weekend and those that went to Welks enjoyed their day. Pleased to say Karen and Steve showing Shula (Ruby's sister) at their first champ show came second in Puppy class - they didn't know till afterwards they had qualified for next years crufts.
John, Fiona, the 'kids' and Aero been down here for weekend. Luckily weather good yesterday, but not today as they are travelling back to Scotland. Will try put up two 'wee' videos of the dogs having a good time.  I think Aero's first show next weekend, so anyone going please look out for them.  Thanks   Wendy

If you need a job Mo I've got some vacancies, can't get anyone to work down here.Who were the two dogs in the video and where do Uncle Jager and Daisy reside? Glad you've got good weather cause ours is more like the start of winter rather than summer.Hope it brightens up soon - no good for my business when DSC00120.JPGits like this. Some times Lucy does sit still and contemplate the view.Brewie looks very happy. Does he have any Doggy companions?

Nat. App

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
Vicky  how are you?  glad you have found a wee job  for pocket money  could you find one for me too?
The Nat App is great fun   and is for you to see "what your dog can do" in its natural mode.
We have info on  scottishmunsters.co.uk site  regarding Nat app. which will give you an idea what is expected.
We also have the info sheet for 2007 ( still up in the air  as to wither will go ahead this year  should know after AGM in May) which gives map of location @ Scottishmunsters.co.uk
Pingus mum and Dad have said they (for a small fee) are willing for caravans  and campers
to camp in there field on there farm next to the one used for Nat App previously.  But we do need numbers.
PS we are hoping to run eye testing clininc again at reduced rates.  see above

I thought I would "pop on" and say hello, i've been showing some of my friends pictures you have been posting and they say they all look lovely. :)

I have a job interview on monday, only for a hospitality/catering company as waiting staff, only little but it gives me some pocket money!

Is anyone going to National Dog show and Border Union?

Can anyone email me some more information on what a nat ap entails etc on vicky_angel_089@hotmail.com

i'm very interested toknow what they entail thankyou!! xx

Lucy

The behavior Lucy is showing on the video  is just like her Uncle Jager    When he goes to Helens  she has a big paddock  and Jager and Daisey (his daughter)  just race round and round
going mad  just missing all the polls etc.  wild  and mad

Video was taken this PM (sorry Nicky  weather her beutiful again )

Yes, you're probably right they are all a bit mad and after all they are just being dogs! We have a strange mixture in our house even within the same breeds. Two of the Flatcoats are not very affectionate unless we are going for a walk, being fed or going shooting while Bella (and Harry, the dog I lost just before we got Lucy was even worse)  just wants to be with you all the time and constantly requires strokes. She will sit in the car all day just in case I go some where without her.Just like Lucy she is mad but very, very affectionate and would sit on my knee all day if it was allowed. Two of the three Spaniels are not very interested in meeting people or being cuddled while the other one loves people. The one thing they all love - well don't know about Lucy, yet is working. They all go mental on shooting days, don't eat wont sit down and become very noisy!!! Lucy will fit in there.Don't know how they know perhaps they can read the calender!!

mad

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
yep they are all mad!!!! but lovely with it.as you can see with paws she really does like the trampoline and doesnt need told to go on it. she just likes the funny feeling running on it. the kids love her on it too and buzz is quite taken with the tramp as well. i think we will ban the new pup or we wont have room for the kids. raining here again how dull.
Thanks for sharing.  Lucy definately looks full of beans.  They do amaze you with the speed they cover the ground.

Puppies

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

I have always found walks dont really tire pups out, the only way I have found to do that is a good training session working the brain seems to be more effective. I also found with Ellie we had to make use of a crate to teach her how to switch off (Mo didn't tell me that was an optional extra ;-) ) Also beware some very popular brands of dog food aint all they are cracked up to be containing additives (colours for our benefit etc), derivatives (all the nasty bits like beaks etc) and unspecific ingredients (allowing them to change ingredients whenever it suits). Some pups will be fine with this others maybe hyper or not thrive.

Feeding

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Hi Mo

I made the reference to Eukanuba because you warned me that it would make her hyper active. We are still feeding her the Pedigree Puppy Chicken and Rice with a bit of tinned Butchers puppy meat .Perhaps she just a very active dog which will be great when she is old enough to work- I can't stand slow dogs for picking up.A friend has told me about a munster he had which was so fast he called it his third barrel because what he missed with two barrels the dog caught!!!!! Apparently it could climb trees as well.

BORDER UNION

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Pingus mum and dad  have very kindly said that they will allow anyone wanting to camp /caravan
at Border Union weekend may for a small fee do so on their farm.  They stay in the next farm to where the Nat App is held. Lucy says they can provide water if required but no other facilities.
We need to know numbers of people who might be interested  so email us at
scottishmunsters

Thanks
Mo
ps  we are hoping to have the eye test again

What do you feed her?
They are all full of energy  but glad she is doing well
keep the pictures coming

Lucy

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
Don't worry, Lucy is not allowed to mouth etc we have had enough dogs to know how to train them in that respect, it the energy levels in one so young. I had her out for three hours with me this morning and she still wasn't sleepy when I left. And before you ask Mo I'm not feeding her Eukanuba!!! Perhaps a trampoline would be the answer. I'd love to see a video of Paws bonging!!

cute

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

awwww aint brew a cutie. he is such a lovely boy. Maybe lucy should have come here to love with her dad and half sis paws for a while . erin and jason are quite a good influence on little pups too. they wont accept the mouthing and things and know how to deal with it. i wish more adults were as good as my two at dog training.

pup to be is lovely looking and is classed a s ared although it is ee red [something to do with the gene ] her grandad is an australian import and she has a nice pedigree .it is a mix of working and breed . cant wait to get her home and introduce her to the gang.

Training

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
I think I need to send Lucy to stay in Logieland for a few weeks for a spot of training. She still wakes up very early and certainly doesn't come back from her early morning walk and go to sleep, she proceeds to drag Rascal or Jess around the dog pen for another half an hour. Yes, she is becoming even more of a thug especially as she is now much taller than the Spaniels.Glad Brew is settled he looks a very handsome chap and no doubt the arrival of the new pup will soften the blow of his departure for Erin and Jason. The new pup looks really cute, haven't seen a Border that colour before almost the sable colour of the Lassie Collie,

yeah that is brew hard at his work. lynn told me that he had just had his morning walkie with gordon so  was needing his nap!!!  he is getting on great and sleeping through the night no bother and eating like a little horse. they will keep sending us his pics. the kids loved seeing him setteld.

she is destined to be a lap dog, pet, hopefully an obedience dog with agility and doggy dancing too if ishe likes doing all that. if she is anything like ace then she will love it. paws loves it too but in a munster sort of way. her agility a tthe moment in the garden is jump jump trampoline - i swear the dog is addicted to trampolining you cant keep her off it. it is a site to see that big twit boining on a 12ft trampoline.

your new collie as absolutely adorable - what a fantastic colouration, she'll be a stunner when she's grown.
As for names, she looks alot like a brown version of the collie I had when i was alot younger - her name was Cassie.
Is she destined for agiltiy greatness, or doggy dancing.....

I too saw Erin and Buzz on topdog too - well done, you were both excellent and i loved your loch ness show!

Had to watch the show we recorded with Erin and Buzz when we got home last night.
Well done - maybe you didn't win, but Erin you showed your gifted talent on handling dogs.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of new puppy - has it got a name yet?  Blackpool not too far from us, famous for tower and rock.
Spoke to Karen again, all is well -  managing to get some sleep and rest, she has chosen her puppies name, but will leave that for her to tell you more about.

never mind they are all healthy and that is the main thing. you must have been tired and not with it. hope you are wanting a girl though. glad you had a good holiday wendy. we are going down to blackpool to pick up a new member of the family. a lovely golden border collie pup. the kids are so excited about her and so am i!!!!! she is a cracker, not a traditional looking border as she is very white with small bits of colour on her but erin fell in love at first sight so wee paws will have another collie to play with now..

Really, can you believe it, two married ladies, and they couldn't tell the difference between the boys and the girls ...   did it take two or three days before you realised you have 5 girls and 2 boys and not 4 girls and 3 boys !!!

Been away in Wales this weekend, had some good walks despite wall to wall sheep (and look at the price of lamb in the butchers !!). Did managed to find forestry land with no sheep, and the weather was quite kind to us.

We did photograph, weigh, and sex them all as they were born!  Still got that one wrong though.

Puppies

Well done to you all!

Karen, I did that many years ago (miscounted pups!) which is why I now make a record of each pup as it's born (birth weight, markings, sex) so that I know what was born, and when.

How did you all do at the HPR show? It was this weekend, wasn't it? I didn't keep the schedule so can't remember whether it was yesterday or today. I've only entered one show this year and don't even know if I'll get to it. Hopefully my car will be fixed by next weekend so I can start making plans again. If there is any petrol to go around by then!!

I must have got rid of them then Mo.

We've just realised this morning that in our sleepy state on Friday morning we made a bit of a cock-up!  We actually have 5 bitches and 2 dogs.

Long Legs

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Lucy's legs have grown long enough for her to be able to see through the fence on the dog pen and DSC00117.JPGif she becomes as agile as her father she might be the first one to jump over it!!

Glad to hear about the puppies - funny how they always arrive at night!! It can be quite scarey the first time for both parties. My first flat coat whelped 11 puppies and wouldn't touch any of them, she growled if they went further forward than her front leg. I was seriously worried that I would have to hand rear the lot!! However, once they had all arrived we moved her to the whelping box outside and she was fine and successfully reared the lot.I think she was in shock or pain during the delivery.

Would like to stop off and visit Karen hopefully to see Inca's pups but haven't arranged that yet and don't know if they are born either - anyone heard ??

Hi to all over the border, sorry been missing for a couple of weeks, had visitors, been away, been ill, you know how it goes, kept thinking go on later, but later never came. Did manage to get to East Anglian Gundog Show held at Peterborough last weekend.  Ruby's first show, for which I was thrilled she got Best Puppy, not that there were loads there, I think three or four pups and two juniors in her class.  But what was most important is that she did behave reasonably well and was a happy pup in the ring. Would love to include a pic I was sent of her but not sure if politically correct, will ask the question and perhaps post later if poss.
Gather you have a show this weekend, good luck to those going.  Love the pic of Erin and Jason - what do the dogs think of the birdie !!  Stayed in to watch Erin on the telly but couldn't find it anywhere, even on sky - hope it went well.  Not heard anything about it, but of course, may have missed your comments. Any of you traveling south to AGM ?  Any of you put in a nomination - or is it a secret.
Thinking of Maureen, and hope to see you all again soon.  Wendy

I'm afraid you will not be able to take Cassie to Malvern (WELKS Champ Show)  NFC "Not for Competition" unless you had entered by 19th March!   see http://www.fossedata.co.uk/entry.asp?ref=WELK_APR_08   You don't seem to be able to do any "spur of  the moment" visits to championship shows.

Spring might be at Selkirk - Skye staying home as in season (No3  12m,9m,7m gaps)

I thought there was a good turn out at the seminar.  I didn't know a lot of the people but did recognise them as judges (of other breeds) at local shows.  Thanks have to go to Pat McCutchoen and Geoff Hargreaves for arranging and presenting at the seminar. Having attended and seen what goes on re- tests and then their subsequent marking highlights how much time Pat puts in to supporting the Large Munsterlander club.

                                                                Cheers

How did the breed seminar go? Sorry we couldn't make it, we had a show on. Decided to have a go at clearing Troon beach afterwards too lol. The girls had a great time chasing sea gulls (for Ellie and Suki) or munsterlanders (for Kizzy). The surprised look on Ellies face when she realised she had gone that far she was going to have to swim was classic. All sleeping soundly now tho.

Hi Pam,

Yes, I do plan to show Isla this year! She is entered for a few of the upcoming shows early in the year and would love to attend some with both throughout the summer. I am sure Carly will be fine, I still sometimes get nervous even with Isla! She does go to ringcraft, mainly on thursdays and mondays in a village not to far from us. The one ringcraft is very good for socialising (as are all). This is because it is in an enclosed space and I think it get sthe dogs used to standing next to each other!

Isla is just lovely, though. She's my "big baby Isles" ;-)

Carly seems to be growing aswell! It's so funny how I can just somehow notice her growth spurt. I love puppies, they arejust so funny and have the most curious of characters!!!

Does anyone know the cut off date for Border Union. I need to enter or else I will have accomodation but no show! LOL!!!!

the pups ar ejust growing like weeds. brewie is the same as lucy he has discovered kitchen units and all the goodies they have on them albeit now slighty further back. good luck to everyone at their shows this weekend hope you all do well.

I know what you mean about the growth rate. Lucy has shot up this week, so much so that she needs an adult collar and worse still she can now reach items on the work surfaces,  tops of cupboards and tables.Greater vigilance is now required!!!

I'm sure Carly will do great at her 1st show. She certainly looks great anyway. Have you been taking her to ringcraft, how is she getting on. What about Islay will you be showing her too this year?

Hi,

Schedule is out for GBAS in Lanark on Sun 25th May. Our Judge is David Moss & we have been given 4 Classes - Junior, Graduate, Limit & Open!!!!!! Schedules can be found at www.pitalpin.co.uk Entries don't close until 06/05/08 so you have plenty time. I am really surprised at the number of classes as I think there were only a few of us there last year. Lets try & get a good entry this year so we don't lose them again!!!

I see Tay Valley Gundog on 04/05/08 closes on Mon 14/04/05. Schedule for this can also be found at www.pitalpin.co.uk Judge is Stuart Offer & we have 3 classes Junior, PG & Open. As this clashes with the newly arranged LMC AGM I doubt I will be able to go. Shame as I think it's really important to support all the open shows (but at this time I think it's equally important to support the club!!).

Anyone know if the schedules are out yet for Dundee Open Show in June?

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Yes Mo I am totally mental and took both girls to ringcraft lol. Dont think the class knew what had hit it lol. They calmed down pretty quick tho. Not totally insane tho Clare was there too had quite a learning curve tho as she has never had anything to do with showing before. Suki thought she was brill cos she gives loads of cuddles. Suki stood really quiet for everyone to go over her unlike Ellie who had ants in a pants, then they changed over when it came to moving Ellie showed off and Suki had fun lol. They are now both tucked up in bed sound asleep.

Suki also tried her hand at being a vet dog today but found greeting clients and pinching chews all too much and spent most of her shift asleep on the job.

My poor car is very sick just now. I can't get anywhere to do anything. Shopping is a nightmare! Henry (next door) is going to have a look at it for me, but it doesn't look too good.

I'm supposed to be bringing a dog to the seminar, but unless I can get a lift I don't see how I will be there. I'll wait and see what Henry says, but if it's going to cost a lot of money I'm staying at home.

Good Morning All,

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Mo I will definitely be able to come the the AGM, if I could tag along with you that would be ideal??

Are any of you coming to the Breed Seminar this weekend? As I only live a few miles from it I am going to book a place today. Think where possible we need to support the club, especially during this turbulent time. Hopefully see some of you there.

Had a lovely day with Elvis yesterday we got up to a beutiful wintry snow scene so went sraight over the moor. He had a ball rolling about in the snow & running about like mad. Didn't stumble across any wildlife this time, perhaps they were all snuggled away out of the cold!!!

We feel it is very important for the breed in general that as many members as possible be there to vote in New Committee.  So please all try to be there .  If any one needs a lift let us know and we will try to help.
If you are not there to vote  you cannot complain when things go wrong in the club???
So be active and be there to vote.

You go girl and show all them other dogs how clever you are.

Wendy,  no worries re-campervan. My brother has a caravan stored at my mum and dads that we could have use of in a push - but he said "you're no lettin' they dogs in!" which is a common theme for rented or holiday type accomodation.

Vicky, glad your okay after your tumble. Its sounds a cracker. Hope your horse is okay to.

I know it's nothing compared to the rest of you, but I'm proud to report that Cassie completed her bronze obdience last night - star of the class (of course, as she was the only Munster there!). At the end of the evening (playtime) she even demonstrated a perfect retrieve to her class mates.  Might not sound much to you experts out there, but I'm a novice!

Silver starts in a couple of weeks and then on the gun dog and agility - can't wait!

deanis

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
the programme is called deanis. you can get it on bbc i player [just google it] and you can watch it for 7 days after it has been on. i dont know what bit of erin and what dog but they did a lot with her. cant wait to see it. busy this week.tomorrow we have pony show in morning , magazine coming in afternoon, then thursday agility private lesson, then horse riding, then friday agility in the morning then off to camperdown park for the weekend to an agility show. paws had her first lesson in agility she was watching ace and slipped her collar and ran up the a frame - self taught.

BBC 2 - Erin

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
Nicky - what is the programme called that Erin will be on. I don't think we do have the same channels/programmes down here but we do have sky so hopefully will be able to find it?
Don't want to miss her and my friends have been asking when the filming of her at Crufts was going to be shown too.  I presume that is what this one is ?

Weather diabolical today here, yesterday beautiful, thought spring had sprung.  Carol hope you get something sorted house wise, don't think my little motor home would be quite big enough, but if you desperate !!!

Would love to enter into your HPR show at Selkirk, but possibly a bit too far for an open show.
Gill lives quite near to me ...  once gave me reserve best in show at at big HPR show with Abbie.  She is a 'working' lady so likes her dogs well muscled.

Is that only the Scottish BBC2? On Thursdays we have the gaelic programmes on, so I wouldn't think it would be shown in England. Or will those with Sky, etc be able to pick it up? Hope they have sub titles! I don't know one word of gaelic!!!
