Hope you have had an enjoyable Easter and the weather didn't stop you getting out and about. Carol - have you moved into your new house yet? 
We have had Karen. Steve, Jambo (Lila's brother) Shula (Ruby's sister) staying over the holiday Karen and I and the two pups went to the Nat Apt despite the bad weather conditions when we set off. Karen has never worked a dog before and Shula, who has had no training what so ever, did very well, only failing on the water test, not swimming quite far enough. Thrilled that Ruby passed but she is a water babe - and everytime a dog wouldn't retrieve the dummy she willingly obliged and did well on all other tests for only six months old.
Well done to my fellow competitiors we had a good socialisation time too. What ever their result it was excellent for the dogs.
Attached photo of Ruby on one of her retrieves. Anyone wanting to do Nat Apt at Kelso, have a go - the judges will always help, advise and encourage. I am willing to run a training school again if asked, there is always a lot a waiting around at these events and therefore time to get some extra practice in.
