By Oh I suppose I'll get a picture of one or two, as the deer are often seen around here, but I don't think I'll ever see that many again. I was just not thinking about pictures, I was thinking of making sure the dogs didn't see (or smell) them! When I think about it, the deer were off to the right, the dogs were in front and the wind was coming from the front, but also from the left of us, so no, the dogs wouldn't have scented them. Plus the fact the the banking was in the way probably disguised our scent as well. I have, in the past, had to go chasing through the woods after the dogs when they got the scent, which is why I was petrified that they would scent this lot. I don't think I would have seen any of the dogs again. Far too many deer to follow!
Actually, to make things worse (sort of) shortly after I took the photos my batteries died. Just as a jet fighter flew over and Pepsi stood stock still staring at it. That would have been another good photo. Just not my day! Note to self - remember to take extra batteries next time....!!
