I was one of ones that didn't get a certificate, but had a great day and learnt a lot from my mistakes.  Lila loved it, and worked well and just because she rolled on the woodcock before she retrieved it - so what !!  I understand so have other family members on woodcock in the past. The day was difficult with the wind changing directions and many more woodcock than pheasies but we tried and did out best.  Lila didn't yip, didn't chase the very large hare she found then pointed and did an excellent water retrieve - and what's more important she is here, fit, healthy and back to her usual happy self.

May I truly welcome Steve, Nancy and Shiloh.  What a super, well written and heartfelt post.  I do hope you keep us up todate with news and pictures ..  again welcome.
