Seska does this. She is keeping it safe from the other dogs, just in case her puppies need it later on........ I've found food in my bed on occasion.... Silly dog. It's normal, but annoying. Lift her food as soon as she starts digging. It won't do her any harm to miss a meal or two. If you are really worried that she isn't eating just give her little at a time, but several times a day instead of normal times. Though personally I wouldn't do this as it might encourage the phantom to go on a bit longer. But I know how difficult it is when they don't eat......
