bits of this and that

Gill, glad you had a good day out. We all need a break from the norm now and then.

Phantom pregnancies. I've had bitches in the past that had terrible ones. The only thing to do is what you are already doing. Less food, more exercise and no toys. If she fills up with milk you can go to the vets for something, but be careful. If they give you galastop (which most do) it could cause problems if you want to breed from your bitch in the future. Though not all bitches are affected by it. Basically it helps dry up the milk, but it is also used to cause bitches to abort so be cautious.

I should be at Auchterarder, I've got a shield to return (or bring home again.....!!) Will be counting the pennies to see who I will be bringing though. Kind of short this week. New specs cost money..... I will get used to these things. Hopefully.........

Bruce gave me a bread maker yesterday. He doesn't use it and was going to throw it out so I took it. I tried it out today. All I can say is hmm, not sure about it. I think I might try out a couple of the recipes before it ends up in the back of the cupboard.....
