what are you lot like not entering the show. we need to keep the entries up and its easier for you lot to all get there. gundog breeds should be busier. good luck to those of you that are going. good luck pepsi on your first show.

Oh gooddee! Lots of people to stand ringside holding my dogs whilst I make a fool of myself with Pepsi.........

So why didn't you lot enter? We'll start losing the classes soon. I know of at least one absentee on Sunday as it is. Pepsi isn't entered in the breed classes as I can't show 3 dogs in 2 classes (unless I can clone myself before then.....LOL!)

I might come along on Sunday if i'm not out on Saturday night. Is it one that I'd be okay leaving the Pups in the car I can't remember which one it is lol (I do however seem to remember getting quite lost trying to find it lol).

So sorry to hear the sad news. Fingers crossed that the remaining pups survive.

We have just heard Sarah's sad news  and we send her all our thoughts at this sad time for her

Mo, I think you mean Sunday for Waverly Gundog?? I will be there. Doors open 10am, judging starts at 10.30am. Munsters are in ring 5. There are 9 classes before us, Weims, GWP, Brittany & Spinone's. I will probably make my way over for 11ish.

That's a shame Carole, but I always believe there was a reason for things. The right house will turn up at the right time. Pity though, that was a lot of land to play in....

I had my hospital visit today. I now have to go to Ninewells for them to put some radio active dye into my blood stream so they can find out what's happening. Not looking forward to it. Fingers crossed everything is ok.

yeah Mo that was suki. i will need to try and get Erin and Paws behaving themselves for midland counties, Paws still dont stand like that.

How Cute, he will have so much fun with that pup, they are so pleasant. I remember when Isla was that small.....seems so long ago now!! haha!

Saw the picture of Erin in the YKC magazine, looking very proud!

Isla decides today she has a terrible flu virus (LOL) and thought "i'm going to wipe my nose with a load of tissues" more like chew!! (see pic)

Mo, Isla is really big now, I can't remember when she was smaller I don't think! I will have pictures sent to you asap, i've been sorting them out actually! I never went to get my camera, so i'll get it on thursday when i am in town! Do you want me to bring the camera to Midland counties?

I had a nice weekend, Elvis & I had Maggie with us for a couple of days. We were just hanging around, went a couple of nice walks nothing too exciting. It was nice not to be rushing about for a change.

Vicky, can't wait to see new pics is Isla, she must be getting big now!!

Good Luck to everyone going to Midland Counties this week. I haven't entered so won't be there.

Hi everyone. Doesn't Kelsey look good? If memory serves me right she'll be 13 in December. Is that about right Nicky?

I've been laid up for the last week with a flu/cold type thingy. It's not quite flu but more than a cold, so hopefully will be fine for the weekend. I've got 2 entered, but will be bringing all 4 of my monsters - oops, I mean munsters........ I've invited someone along to meet and greet us all with their teenage (mindwise, not real age wise..) munster so hopefully they will turn up for a chat. Hope the weather stays good.

Wow how amazing does Kelsey look!!!! How old is she? She looks so healthy & happy that's brilliant. Life in Logie Land must be keeping her going strong!!!

Well, I had a lovely weekend, Elvis & Tilly were staying so that was great. Had them out over the moor on Saturday, they loved it but the milder weather means there is still loads of grass seeds & burrs out there so I had quite a time Sat Night & Sunday trying to get Elvis cleaned up, Tilly wasn't as bad. Sunday as it was such a nice day I took them down the clyde side for a swim, they had a ball, it was great.

What did everyone else get up to?

Who is going to TVGA this Sunday? Judging starts at 10am & I think we are in after Vislas & Weims so I am planning on being there for about 11am. Was thinking if the weather is good after it we could go for a charge on the beach????

Are you going to eventually link this feed into the other site Mo? I didn't realise people were still posting on the other forum just spent ages catching up on the other one lol. I'm liking this site as they haven't blocked it at work yet so can still check it in my breaks.

As I mentioned on the other site we are giving tTouch a go next weekend if anyone else is interested in it I'll let you know how we get on and pass on the practitioners details to anyone that fancys giving it a go.

Not doing anything this weekend, except hugging the fire. I've caught an awful cold off Claire this week. She was sent home from school a week ago feeling ill and is still a bit under the weather. I'm not as bad as she was but am still suffering. Dogs still need walked though, so it's wrap up nicely and go for a short walk.

I take it no-one is going down to the club show this weekend? It's just a tad too far to go for me.

Hi Pam, Pepsi's first show is Waverley gundog, then GBAS the following week. Oh dear, what am I letting myself in for? She turns 6 months old on the 1st November, so I'm looking forward to it, I think.

As to the name. When all 7 of the pups were in the nest they were called Tango, Flash, Sprite, Vimto, Tizer, Lilt and Pepsi......get the theme?????? Pepsi's name stayed with her. I think Sprite is the only other one that still has his original name, though Lilt became Lilly. Trying to think of names can be a nightmare. Chance got his purely because I decided to take a chance on a male, instead of a female, from that litter. Seska got hers from a word search that Claire was doing at the time. It was on Star Trek names. Seska is one of the females in Star Trek: Voyager. Jenni named Chloe so I can't take credit for that one. It's not a name I would have chosen myself. Their KC Registered names are the worst to find. Not only do you have to find the original name but a 2nd one, just in case they don't let you have the first. This happened with a couple of the names I asked for. The 2nd names were also rejected so I had to give them other names. Which is why I don't like some of the names chosen. I think Mitch is the worst one I've evr had. His name is more suited to a bitch, but I forgot to put a cross in the box so the KC named him, poor dog!

Linda, Pepsi looks lovey & I really like that name. What made you come up with that? Infact, how do any of you pick names for your dogs?? Also, when will Pepsi's show debut be????

Elvis came about because Billy had a dog called Ace when we 1st met. For some unknown reason Billy would often call him Elvis (sort of a nickname). Anyway, once we had picked our puppy we were really struggling to come up with a name that we both liked. I suggested Elvis as a sort of tribute to Ace as I knew how much Billy missed him, Billy thought that was a great idea so our "Big Boy" soon became Elvis. Looking at him now I can't think of any other name that would suit him & even people who thought it was a ridiculous name at 1st think it just suits him to a T.

What's everyone up to this weekend? I'm getting Elvis on Saturday this weekend so will be hoping to get out somewhere Sat PM if anyone is around???

Yes, that's Pepsi. She is 5 months old now and I can't decide who was the worst at this age. Her or her mother! Though in saying that she is a lot better at coming back to the whistle. Her mother only started recently when I changed the whistle to a 'proper' gundog one.

I didn't realise you could resize the photos. Where do you do that (told you I was very good with computers....!!)
