she manages him fine. jumps on him no probs. he is such a handsome boy. we found out this week he is only 4 he got his teeth done by the vet which gives a good way to tell. she was riding him bareback tonight round the paddock, she is mental !!! he is a great wee pony, he is 12.2 or was but is still growing so will see how he turns out. no shows this weekend so time to spoil him

So glad to read the day went very well and everyone enjoyed themselves plus the weather was kind to you all - though we do usually do ok for weather on Nat Apt Day in Scotland.
I was really disappointed not to be able to join you this year, it has always been a great day, with a fabulous atmosphere both for people and munsters but hope to be there next year. Missed the great food  - this year cooked by Master Chefs  !!!
Are any of you venturing to the Hall Barn Working Test run by LMC.  Again a beautiful venue where munsters and other hpr's get put through their paces but with a lot of help, support and friendship with like-minded doggie folk.  May see some of you at Blackpool (not quite the beach or pleasure park) and hope for decent weather as Blackpool is known for mud and wind !!
Travel safely.    Cheers   Wendy

Nat Ap

Just wanted to say what a great day we had yesterday and to thank Mo, Nicky, Eric, Fiona, all the judges and everybody who was involved in the organisation of the day and of course Robert for allowing us all to come to his farm. I think that the judges did a great job to stand around so long on what was an incredibly hot day, not withstanding the fact that they had such long journeys home afterwards.

I was so proud of Ghillie, he only just failed by not pointing the birds, but I got such a thrill out of watching him do what a munster has been bred to do.

Also thank-you to Erin for organising the fun scurry which was great fun...and John and Aero for the entertainment...he he. Can't wait for the next Nat Ap.

They hatched on Monday and are doing well, as you can see! The wing is of one of the parents. They were both sitting beside the nest but flew off when the camera clicked. I only just caught the wing of one of them. I have counted 3 babies, but there could be more. Fingers crossed they fledge this year.

Uncle Charlie

When I took Ellie out to work with me the last thing I was expecting was a family reunion. We were out working with a Golden Retriever and as we turned into the field we were going to use we were met by a Large Munsterlander and his Golden pal. Raymond thought that was a big enough coincidence but was quite amazed later when I explained that Charlie was actually Ellies Uncle who we knew lived locally but had never met.

Also very proud of Ellie as I wasnt convinced she was going to set Mack a very good example but she really did me proud, she'll be getting a nice big bone tonight. Although knowing Ellie shes waiting for next weekend to show her true colours lol.

P.S. putting in another Antos order on Tuesday that I hope to have it before I leave for Kelso, if anyone wants anything (at trade prices).
